The Pawtrait Session

Whether we’re looking at working with dogs, horses or any other pet, the process of the portrait session is almost identical. Learn about the steps involved here, along with the investment options available too.

    Step 1: The Consultation

We’ll kick things off with a 30-online call to get to know your pet! During this chat, we’ll talk about your pet’s unique traits, favorite toys, and treats. We’ll also decide on the ideal location for your photo shoot.

    Step 2: The Pawtrait Session

At this point, the Pawtrait Session commences and this could be one single pawtrait session with you or your preferred subject, or it could be an entire process working through months of individual photo shoots, costuming, styling and more, to result in all of the elements needed to finish the concept identified in the consultation.

    Step 3: The Reveal

Here, we reconvene either in person or virtually, to reveal the pieces created within Step 3. Often this is the first time you will have seen the elements captured in Step 3 in a finished format.

Goldendoodle standing happily at Seaward Park during a vibrant outdoor pet photoshoot by The Pawtrait Space

I had an amazing experience working with Komal! She were incredibly patient, professional, and clearly have a genuine love for animals. My dog is very active and doesn’t like siting in one place when outdoor, but Komal knew exactly how to bring out the best in him. The photos turned out stunning — full of personality, warmth, and beautifully composed. I’m so happy with the results and will definitely be back for more sessions in the future. Highly recommend to any pet parent looking to capture special moments!
